Ingredients:
- 500g minced meat
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground paprika
- 100g Gouda cheese
- 3-4 hot dog buns
- Optional toppings: fried onions, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise
Instructions:
- Season the minced meat with salt, pepper, cumin, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix thoroughly.
- Place about a quarter or a third of the meat mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap (depending on how large you want the sausages to be) and flatten it thinly.
- Cut a few strips of Gouda cheese and place them in the center of the meat. Roll it tightly to form small sausages.
- Place the prepared cheese sausages in an air fryer and cook at 195°C (385°F) for 18 minutes or until golden brown. Cooking time may vary depending on the size of the sausages and your air fryer model.
- Assemble the hot dogs by placing the cheese sausage into the bun and topping with mayonnaise, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and fried onions according to your preference.
